update to this thread . the Kraton is now XL , goes great , the handling is spot on . the little typhon 6s mainly uses 4s and does it all , what a cracking pair that really work brilliantly in there own right , i`m well chuffed with these two

The kraton XL is back to standard , although as my garden stands , as in rock hard and lowish grass level , the buggy has the edge . We have a lot of rain forecast next week , this may push the pendulum the other way . Buggy n truck make a great combo for many different occasions

So while I wait for my rocket motor to arrive to put in the kraton ( talion body ) i installed the corally Motor n esc . 6s n 14t pinion = one evil truck indeed . 4s n 16t pinion is much mouth more enjoyable in my garden . The last pic is me trying to stop it before it smashes into my legs . A quick legs in the air saw her smash into the patio edge , something popped but can’t see it yet .

This brilliant truck has worked hard this week with the corally system on board . Time to check the diffs I recon and a little clean too , although we got a lot of rain now

The rear diff is from a fireteam and still had lots of oil in it , the sun gear was sloppy on the pin , so replaced it . The front diff is LSD and was low on oil , although both serviced at the same time previous . Lots of rain here tonight . The old truck is gonna get mucky if I can get out

Diffs are done , the front lsd has stripped a screw in the diff cup , so will replace another day , found a broke front top arm , that’s replaced , a quick whizz around the garden and all is great , it’s dry now , so too much grip . So that’s only means one thing ……. It’s typhon time , yesssssss

Glued up my bust rims fastrax wheels , 4s 20t pinion , really impressed how they handled the dry grass . What a great truck

Finished the day on 6s . 20t pinion and belted Katar’s. Just great fun , that’s all I can say really

Back on backflips , she's been sent and has survived the day , spot the squashed front tyre on the ramp . 6s with 14t pinion love this truck

The kraton is now a Talion , but earlier sat and had photos with the asuga before it's change

My one and only 6s pack is getting slower to balance , so by shear luck , cnhl had 55% off , so a pair in 5000 70c G+ are on there way , 32 quid each , lovely jubbly

Update . As of 8.8.23 . She sits with a talion chassis , talion towers , asuga shocks , asuga wheels n tyres , kraton arms n hubs , typhon body or asuga body . Goes like stink and handles awesome . Radix 6 motor and spektrum ESC . 6s 20t pinion . Perfect on the bumpy lawn

Last night she was talion shocks till the crash with a talion body too

28.8.23 update . Talion chassis, kraton towers n shocks , 4s fun , 14t pinion for a relaxed non fighting day , still pain in rear wheelies on my 120c 4s race packs though

So after a billon changes , this one is retired , the slip in every single part says to me i need to get another kit and start a fresh as parts would cost too much . Will sit and wait to see what arrma does regarding the kraton , talion EXB which we all know have gone , but I hope they return

Update . 26.11.23 . The return . Missed the kraton a lot , it just works . I have enjoyed the asuga , but there’s something about these trucks , have gutted the asuga and long live the kraton . Plus I’m not spending £750 on the new EXB version . That’s stupid , bring it as a roller please

Agreed.

Love the parts improvements.
But it shouldn't cost THAT much since it's mostly an iterative upgrade from previous model ,not something totally different.

Thanks Tex , I’ll no doubt go the Jenny’s route as many others when parts get available , but my old bus will do me and after a few bashes . It would look the same anyways
