Hello everyone , it’s been a few weeks and first outing with the talion , could I drive today , could I heck , blooming terrible I was , hit all me trees , the wall , everything , rubbish control . Anyways , here she be

So not to be outdone , the kraton came out with its much softer set up and I’m pleased to say all went well except for a broken wing

250 trillion crashes later and the steering servo has died on kraton . left off early too . So replacement ordered . Sooooooo that leaves the weekend for me to get the talion dialed in properly , my new 6s pack has arrived , 20t pinion will be left in and will experiment . I can not wait to be honest . Truck in garden is kraton with talion body . Talion on table is a Talion end of

I just got a couple of those packs a couple weeks ago. I'm really liking them so far, I think they're really zippy.

Hello there Josh , how the devil is ya ? I like the cnhl batts , good power and cheapish enough in uk compared to scary uk main stream shop prices , tried several other brands , but these certainly tick the boxes
And remembering my dislike for the Katars , I’ve fitted the talion with kraton hubs and can now run my favourite width and tyre combo , just the shocks to dial in now . Cant believe how gritty the talion is , for some reason I must have sprayed it with oil ?

A little update to this thread . The big truck is now a kraton XL with talion body , backflip LP , 20t and 18t pinion choice , 4s and 6s packs , soft set up suspension , its the best truck I have had in my 40+ years of playing with rc cars . The V5 typhon with TLR chassis and corally motor /ESC is a rocket , just waiting for the shock shaft and off she’ll go again . What a great hobby and what a great forum .

So I had bent my front tower this weekend ? So offered up the talion one , fits a treat , shocks are slightly more upright . Also just happened to visit Jenny’s and got done TLR towers coming too . Lovely jubbly

So following Pratt mode and busting my typhon , I put the 6s pack into the kraton to finish the pack off to save discharging it , guess what , yep , a totally and utterly rubbish take off from the ramp and she went wheel first into a tree and bust the diff cup when it popped the shaft . BUT she’s rebuilt with my spare diff which has m2c diff cups . My front compression is limited to prevent breakage on normal landings , this bust due to sillyness

An awesome Saturday afternoon had out on the rough field , only one static from today as I just enjoyed going flat out up n down the field , getting hit by the stones wasn’t clever and lost a rear mud guard . What a brilliant and very rough truck she is

A little update to my main thread , as you can tell , I’m really enjoying my talion bodied kraton

Well , I was gonna go XL again , but a busy week has seen me pick up the talion chassis which was sitting next to the Mojave one , and over the course of the day , changed it out to talion by mistake , but that’s ok cos the talion is great fun with the kraton towers n shocks . Using the truck on the rough field certainly messed up a few bearings . My backflips lp have lots of rips in them too . Maybe the lawn is the better option after all

Well after seeing the lack of LSD diffs at Jenny’s and being a tight old sod ( not really ) I just don’t like uk prices . So on the way from Jenny’s is a fireteam rear diff complete with fancy black wheel hexes . So my talion chassis n body with kraton shocks n towers , now with fireteam rear diff , got knows what category I’ll put it under
