I am new and have a lot to learn .I bought my kids two Arrma but only have time to work /play on one - granite mega. My son recently broke the stock servo while bashing in a baseball field. I wanted him to enjoy it sooner and I replaced them without asking anyone . First one I got was Savox I'm not sure which model number it's digital but it drains the power of the venom 5000mah 40c 2s Lito. Then I ended up getting another one Tactic tsx57, runs great but I noticed a big difference from stock servo it is limited on turning circle . We tried practicing on small track in a park it needs to back up to enable to make a hard turn . Please help me if anyone knows any good brands . I wanted the stock one but the price of the replacement gear is as much as the first Savox servo I purchased from a hobby shop. I will appreciate all the help.

Did you reset the end points to make sure you are getting full travel?
Sorry slpcrf450x, what is an end point? Please forgive me, I don't know which part is the end point..

I'm still trying to figure out, Google .

Okay, I apologize for being ignorant. I read the manual, figured out how to adjust end point. Worked on it for s few hours . It doesn't seem to achieve a full travel. It only goes full right but in left it's about 75%. Is that normal? I'll find out on Tuesday when I get my day off do some runs. Thank you for the good suggestion-learned something new today . I will keep you posted on the outcome. Much appreciated - ArjayGraniteMega2016

When you put the servo horn on the new servo was the servo centered? If you were off a few teeth to one side that could explain why you are not getting full travel in one direction.

Thanks for the info, I will try to double check if it is center. That is when you put the steering control knob to the center, yeah? I did that I believe early Sunday morning. Will take them apart later for proper alignment, I can do this!

It is just the mechanical center for the servo, if you move it by hand as far as it will go left and right half way is the mechanical center and it ensures that you are not hitting the manual servo stops in either direction.

slptrf450X- I tried what the manual and YouTube video had explained. But to no avail still I haven't figured out how to perfectly get more steering. I manage to center the servo but it still don't have the same amount steering I'm used too from the stock Arrma servo. As for now I will try to adjust my speed whenever I manouver as to avoid flipping it sideways and damage the body and body holders which is beaten real bad. This is because of newly installed neu castle 4600kv motor and esc combo. Still needs more adjustments on my own steering capabilities. Thanks again for the info!
