As some of you saw i got me a element crawler. Within 10 minutes of driving the motor fan fell apart and the motor overheated. The motor did kind of suck tho cause it was a 16 turn wich made its slow crawl very bad, but it's still bs that it happened so early.

One thing that you will learn over the years is that rtr brushed motors suck.

You shouldn't need a motor fan.

I'd recommend something like this as a replacement:

You shouldn't need a motor fan. And you definitely shouldn't use a traditional 3-slot 16-turn motor. It's waaaay too fast for a crawler.

Got an older brushed 15t arrma motor in it now till I figure out what motor I want

That's probably a 3-slot motor unlike your original 5-slot motor. The 3-slot 15T will be way faster - too fast for a crawler.

Just took it out and went thru a pack. It actually had better control and was slower then the reedy.

FWIW, brushed motors suck a bag of peepee's.
