Question about ARRMA Red Aluminum Motor Mount Heatsink

Tower Hobbies has them in stock, but if it doesn't add any real benefit to the handling or durability of the RC I probably wont get it.

I've seen them in Tower also. I was thinking about picking up some of the parts for my Fury

I have it. The stock (blx) one is aluminum too I believe so not sure it improves cooling any. That said, I have never had motor temp issues with it, even on 3s. Just bling is my thought and it does look good.

Is it thicker then the stock one?

The battery in my caliper is dead but, to my eye, they look the same thickness when held next to each other.
