Can you use spectrum controller with radiolink receivers or vice versa? Or does it have to be the same manufacturer on both?

No, Spektrum is using a proprietary protocol (DSM) but granted, every company has their own protocol and we typically can't mix brands.

Every now and then you find cloned items in China but usually non-AVC.
Lemon RC used to have some receivers but Spektrum changed protocol and you never know if it works. Looks like they are compatible again.
