The 3d print worked and everything lined up but the holes weren’t strong enough to support threads. So I made an aluminum version

23. The speed treads robbers gave up the ghost this past weekend. Within 20 minutes of each occurrence I had two tires blow out and a two more with splits in the tread.

just glued up some proline street fighters (PRO1167-01) on JConcepts Hazards (JCO3351B). Going to try them out tomorrow!

24. Tried out the tires today but it rained all day so I tested it on wet concrete. Holy grip! Was able to still pull wheelies and turn without over steer!

quick test video

Also today put in a Hot Racing Servo Saver (HRAATF48SH02). Fit and finish looks good. Feels tighter than the stock ones. Will test tomorrow.

Tried it out today. Servo saver works great! Now to get rid of the steering slip in the rack…

25. Added Hot Racing Bell Crank (ARF4801). Install was east and quick. Have about 6 packs through now and it’s still ZERO slop in the steering.

also had my wife cut a piece of vinyl to fit over the motor holes. It keeps a ton of dirt out of the motor case.

i also added a 4s battery and clocked it at 68 mph.

while jumping the ramp. I had a bad landing and both front shock rods pulled out of the perches and almost lost both springs. So I ordered the threaded shock rods and threaded perches to have on hand when it happens again since I was able to press it back together.

Front: ARA330669
Rear: ARA330670
Perches: ARA330666

Lastly one of the rear hot racing shocks leaked from the cap backing off. Went through and flushed and refilled with 70wt oil.

27: Did up a fresh body, proline flo-tek

Installed the threaded shock rods and perches from earlier post.

Got a ECOPOWER WP120T servo from my local shop and installed that too. Had to rebind and calibrate my radio to get avc working properly again. (Must: when changing servos). Now I can run the BEC back at 7.5v.
