@MeHurricane make sure you read the specs, advertised torque is at 12 or 16V i.e. not happening with a normal ESC/BEC. You will need an external servo power setup that does not go through the receiver, they can't handle that voltage.

Thanks... Yeah I need to have a separate battery but it's in a big powered K8 EXB so I figure that I can carry the extra weight. I have some 3S from my crawlers but might have to get some small 4S batteries. Most of those big torque servos like that will need the extra power of a separate battery. (unless I go with the Reefs Beast 1000 but that's $380, less 15% for BF at Reefs or the slower lower torque Spectrums)
Do you have a better suggestion?

Never owned a 1/5 servo, take my recommendation with a grain of salt.
Heard good things about Raminator PrimalRC servo.
Personally, I would go cheap and see how it works. At $40 you can afford a fail, but good chance it will work just fine.

Thanks for checking on some large scale options. That Raminator one looks interesting. I had seen the cheaper version and didn't know that they had a nice one. Maybe that will go into the Losi later...
I have a cheap option not listed there in my DBXLE 2.0, POWER HD WH-65KG. It doesn't work bad for my needs so far but a powerful, fast servo is something that I have been watching for and now with a decent sale price... I only got one for now. We'll see how it works out.
Since it seems that all RTR's tend to skimp on steering servos I tend to over servo my rigs to compensate. The issue I am now worried about with this one is if the servo saver will be over tasked and so I won't get all of the steering. Something else to research.

Amazon had the Kraton 6s in blue or red on sale last night until mid night for "cyber Monday" but when it is actually the day of Cyber Monday they are back to regular price.
That really grinds my gears that they do it they day before... Something about that just kills me.
