You can always slide the heatsink so the fan is on the side of the motor.

Oh, she's beefed up. Everything but the center drive line. Alluminum slipper pads are absolutely necessary. Also tapped slipper hub to a larger screw.

Can't, no room and HS sits flush with chassis.

I need to add weight to this thing. It's surprisingly easy to control despite axle extensions but could do better with stiffer springs. Does anyone know of a front spoiler that would fit?
