Steering- Not full range

Trx4 Sport kit build, DS Servo 25kg, LC Racing (Batan) RTR transmitter and receiver

The steering servo stops short of full lock on both sides. The transmitter does not have end point adjustment, only dual rate which is set to full. The wheels can manually be turned to full lock with the truck not powered.

Does this sound like a servo issue or transmitter?

DS Servos are available in 180 and 360 degree travel and 180 degrees is already plenty. I would lean towards a lack of transmitter capability.

I agree with Engineer: the transmitter and/or receiver may not be capable of moving the servo to the servo end points.

That's what I suspect as well. With all of the reviews of the DS Servos, I figured that somebody would have encountered this problem if it was the servo.

I was looking for an excuse to purchase a new transmitter anyways...
