One of our batteries is giving us some problems. This battery has approx 3 balance charges total on it and it’ll charge for about 10-13 minutes before a alarm goes off and says “short err”

I plugged the battery in and tried it out in my kids granite, the truck ran as should for about 6-7 minutes then we lost all acceleration and reverse. The steering servo still works.

Has anyone seen this or know what’s going on? Should I contact the outfit I bought the battery from? I didn’t think there was any sort of warranty or anything on electronics like this.

There should be some type of warranty on them, usually 30 days. You can email them at:
[email protected]
This is their customer support page.Mind you it's in Germany so their phone number is a german exchange, but it does look like there's a live chat option on the page as well.

You could also their their facebook page which is Global and send them a PM with the message system there. If they can't help you directly on there I'm sure they'll give you the appropriate method of contact.

Thanks for the reply, yea I wasn’t sure on a battery for returning them. I know up here, certain marine related electronics are non refundable or returnable. I emailed the seller on eBay who I purchased this from, I’ll post what they say when they respond

I've bought around 20 lipo packs in the past year or so. The last 2 I bought were a trial to get something cheap, small enough to fit in my stampede/erevo and 3S with 5000mah or more. One seemed good in the stampede while the other seemed very flat. They charged in about the same amount of time, but when I ran both, the second one didn't have near as much punch and the charge only held for about 2/3 the time.

For what it cost, I didn't bother trying to send it back as I'd have to spend $10+ to ship it. I guess I should have tried returning it as it was $40.

This is why I say you should never use the batteries age to determine its health. New ones can be weak too. Sounds like you got a bad one. The good news is gensacearespammers should take care of you as long as you have not had it long.

Copy that, I had one battery since December 16th. Was a Christmas present so it didn’t get used till around the 21st. We ordered a second battery from the same seller a week ago and that’s the one that went t*ts up
