What bothers me the most is most people who are "offended" by it (and anything, this doesn't just apply to that flag), aren't offended because brings them any sort of anguish, they're offended because someone told them they should be, and in todays soft-ass joke of a society being a victim is for some reason the "in thing."I'm from the North so I know many Northerners immediately equate the Confederate flag with slavery/racial prejudice. I've had a few occasions that I've felt the need to explain that it's actually Northerners that are stereotyping and being ignorant when they equate Southern identity with racial prejudice.
