Need to get mine back out. Started to make it a shelf queen. Have all the anodized purple and such.

Posted a few pics earlier. An MT Racer. Top of the line roller. At the time. Right after I built it.

Had several RS4's and the MT1 & 2. Had my fun, sold them off to fund other projects. Then....walked into a hobby store I hadn't been to in a while. Had a NIB MT Racer. Sold it to me for a 1/3 of the price tag. Couldn't resist.

A work in progress. Have the original shell, and another, never painted. The original tires and rims have never been mounted. Only mounted the street tires to break in the OS .18. Have a ton of bling. Never finished it. Maybe it's time.

Had no idea it would be worth a lot if I had. Oh well. Probably could have retired by now with some of the baseball cards I put through the spokes of my bike as a kid too.

Got the new crankshaft! Had to file for a refund and order from a different seller

G3.0 all set to go

Finally complete

Still can’t stop staring at this lightweight racers edge rs4 chassis

Time to move onto either the rs4 drift or to find a super nitro

Some more progress on the nitro rs4 3:

Added titanium screws
Air filter foam
Blue foam bumper
Carbon fiber bumper brace
Aluminum gear cover
Aluminum servo horn with return spring
Lightweight flywheel
Engine oil catch
Shock ball hexes
New alloy wheel hexes
Proper tuned pipe holder
And some more washers. Still have to order some more screws to complete it but it’s pretty close to done

Also bought another little project car… HPI R40

Has a .12 Novarossi engine, it’s not a Hara edition but I did order some parts to lighten up the weight

Can I PM you? Have an MT Racer that I bought a ton of bling for. Would like to turn it into a shelf queen. Never done that before. Just bashed the crap out of them. Lol.

So I thought it was time to restore my Nitro TC3

As you can see it’s filthy and needs work.

The engine has no compression and the gears are stripped.

Got my pile of parts ready to go on

Stripping it down was a lot different than on a HPI, everything is different and I found out a lot of my new parts don’t fit. I guess TC3 parts don’t fit on NTC3 cars, which blows. A lot of electric RS4 parts fit a nitro and vice versa so this was disappointing to learn.

I got most of the way there before I realized I need to upgrade my rear suspension if I wanted to use these new shock towers. So I stole the front suspension from my spare NTC3 and put it on the back of this one

Still need to change the lower bumper mount, bumper foam, and I need to figure out how to attach the rear toe links to the chassis? It’s hard to tell from pics on the internet exactly how it goes. I think I’m missing the piece that connects the lower hinge pins and rear toe links to the chassis but I can’t find the part number.

I’m getting new engine parts to begin rebuilding the stock engine so that it’s ready to go back in, and I need to find a different tuned pipe

I’ve since added:

New air filter
Threaded shock bodies
Later model foam bumper
Shiny rear CVD
New fuel line setup
Upgraded exhaust coupler

And I’m working on replacing all the screws and getting a new wheel and tire setup
