Wanting to upgrade motor and ESC to hit 60 MPH

I want to replace my stock motor and esc with a combo to do 60 mph easy. Is this necessary or can I accomplish with the the stock spektrum esc and 1250kv moror

1250kv motor I'd ASSume you are talking about the K8s?

You can do more than 60 with it stock, just have to gear it right.

You'll have to start buying a few different pinions till you achieve what you are trying to hit. Buy a temp gun while you're at it.
