What is the difference between these 2 propane?

I ran out of my blue propane and I wanted to try the yellow Map/pro. Price difference is about $8 . Is it worth it?

Map gas burns hotter and is poisonous so don’t cook food with it.

Map is hotter. Works faster depending what you are doing. I use Map gas on my copper plumbing and torching frozen bolts on scale cars etc.. Propane is slower to heat and not as hot of a flame. Once you use Map you may not go back to Propane. Depends what you are using it for though. I only use Map. I got spoiled. BTW for the price difference Map may be better because you may use less of it because it heats things faster than propane. Like above , don't use MAP for your stove. Map gas uses a different valve usually with a self ignitor and lock mechanism.

Usually yes but you want to check the manufacturers data sheet to be sure.

MAP gas has a distinct nozzle for this type of gas. A propane nozzle wont work with Map and vice versa. If pictured above is for Map Gas tank it is fine.
