What's up with these clips

I'm cool with the tethers too, but if the clips suck then they suck that's all.

Well, my dumb a$$ never thought of opening them up with pliers so I have always fought to get them on/off
I can see them being fine after adjustments.. I have several loose ones laying aboot on my work bench that I swapped out for the standard 1/10 sized pins. I will revisit them at some point..

They bend and become rather difficult to remove. I'm always afraid I'm going to impale myself trying to remove them and for some reason it's way worse when it is cold.

I don't think they suck. R-clips are R-clips. If they are too tight, either drill the hole out slightly or spread the R-clip slightly.

I also bent them at a 45 degree angle to make them easier to install.
