Growing up my dad was a truck driver. He stopped working shortly after the company he was in started using retreads... he hated them.

Happened close to top speed (21/50 on 6s) so that wasn’t fun. Luckily I was able to lock it down before it hit a curb and stabilize it into the street. That second tire already blew out but was repaired with a soldering iron, extra rubber, duct tape, and superglue. That top tire exploded and has full separation and rip on both sides of the bead... nastiest tire I’ve seen.
