Wouldn't the typhon be even better at handling than the talion? I'm considering a 6s rig too but between a typhon or kraton
Am I missing something?
What kind of terrain are you running on? I’ve got a Kraton and a V4 Typhon Truggy and I almost regret not just getting a second Kraton but it’s because all I have to run on is gravel/dirt roads, grass, or fields..typhon truggy can’t handle it anywhere close to my kraton. If I lived where I had better access to asphalt or concrete for driving I’d probably like the typhon more than I do.Wouldn't the typhon be even better at handling than the talion? I usually run on gravel or grass, I don't usually run on concrete as I'm worried I'm wearing the tires out too fast. My initial thought was the kraton as I just like general bashing and jumping a bit more than speed and handlingWhat kind of terrain are you running on? If you’re asking me, mine is a truggified typhon. I’m still working on adjusting the suspension on it and trying to get it to handle the terrain better. Haven’t dialed it in yet. That a truggified typhon or just a typhon?

That's a perfect description of the Kraton and typhon. I compare the Kraton to handling like a large, drunk person and the typhon handles like a small, cracked out person. On a track, the Typhon is the winner. Runs like a caffeinated squirrel
Kraton - beef cake tires and extra width make it handle a bit pig-ish. But it floats over rough ground better than any of the 1/8 rigs. Run Katar tires on it (or any truggy tire), and it handles closer to the Talion, and does decent on the track.

I prefer the Talion, anyone who has owned both will have their favourite. To me the Talion does things with ease, the lighter more nibble vehicle seems to glide over rough terrain rather than plough through it. It's no contest in speed and handling on smoother surfaces. It can quickly be changed into a flipping and jumping machine with some heavier tyres. It jumps with better balance than any other Arrma I've owned, it just doesn't do flips as easy as a Kraton with the stock tyres. It's a newer design platform and it sure feels better to drive to me. I feel it's a better setup car out of the box with less to spend to really enjoy it. I wish I'd bought a Talion long before I did, I think people are caught up with the Kraton, but it is really a case of a win win, either is great. Talion is my go to and if i could only have one it would be a Talion. If you don't like the body change it.
Not the best example of skill, but to me the Talion doesn't hold anything back if you like to launch it.View attachment 69972View attachment 69971
It's a LFR Body for a Mugen the Losi Body fits too. What body is that? I'm looking for a more truck looking body for the Talion
