I'm no bearing expert, I just use ABEC5 I'd imagine that the top speed runners use some sort of ceramic bearings

K.I.S.S. principles succesfully applied, I'd say! That's a gorgeous-looking color -- not one I ever considered, but it came out great!

So it's been a year..!!!
Finally back on the bench with the Typhon drag car, got a couple of motors all ready for the weekend.
Let's see if I can get into the top ten on the leaderboard with the fastest run on stock electronics on 4s
0-40 and 188ft all ready to test..

Wow, has it really been almost a year since my last post here..!!

Well about time for some new stuff, I'm still chasing the top leaderboard position for a stock BLX SWB drag car on 4s..
Have been looking into toe and anti squat settings and what they do, so thought I give the TLR rear hinge pin holders a try..
Bought the pill set and just the rear holders as I won't need the front as I'm only going in a straight line and here they are.

Well that didn't take long, all fitted..!! I've gone MAX anti squat and MIN toe-in, the theory being less toe = more straight line speed and more anti squat = less squat at launch..

What I found out once I started to reassemble the car was that the TLR holders don't fit the stock V5 chassis
Bring on the dremel you can see my crude grinding to make space for them to fit..!!
