I've only been into RC for about 2 weeks but I have been caught up in the frenzy.

I recently ordered an extra Typhon body, but thought that while I wait for it to be shipped I may has well pick up something local and get some practice on paint jobs - my first ever paint job. The body is not a perfect fit, but it works.

I think the colours work really well - 4 coats of smoke, followed by 4 coats of Ferrari red (Tamiya). It really plays with the light well.

Any idea what body this is? (Searched "Nanda" bodies with no perfect matches) Also is that rear mount just not on b/c of a missing clip or is it not a proper fit? something like this would be so nice for keeping debris out of the chassis. Been looking for a cheap alternative body that I can cut up and have some fun with since I don't want to cut up my stock body yet.

I came across it at a local hobby store, it is a Chinese brand. I found the exact same body at the below link. It is actually for a nitro buggy, but I obviously didn't cut out the holes for the nitro parts.

The body is a tight fit and my 6s battery probably won't fit under the hood (I rode it around with a 3s). But it does work. The rear mount hole cracked through because I drilled it badly, but with a bit more care it would have been fine.

Pics of my Senton with a typhon body. Simple pearl white and some decals.

If you bash it and it gets all scuffed up, that's an excuse to paint another! :p
Already making plans. Might repurpose this body for a stretched street runner I'm going to build and paint another basher body.

I know this is a Typhon post, but here's the Kraton body this amateur is currently painting

I know the thread says custom painted I use the factory body and wheels and I hydro dip them I only accented the body on the bottom with the hydro dip but I think it looks good that way.

Hey Guys,

New to the Arrma family. Through the cold winter months I've found out that custom painting bodies is as nice as bashing on itself. Here are some pictures of my projects. Be glad to here some comments, feedback or remarks. Happy bashing everybody.
