Just a quick thread with pics to demonstrate how to open an EXB diff (I.e. assemble so that there are no lsd plates).
Parts required below - I presume if you are converting from an existing diff you only need ARA311094 diff shim set and will recycle other bits from your existing diff.
All parts laid out - basically outers above, inners below
Assembling gear side
Assembling diff case - I find it easier to get the pin in if I hold down the shims above the o ring with tweezers.
Inners - worth noting the plates behind this small gears have a rough edged and smooth edged side smooth edges face into the diff.
Didn't have any 20k so eyeballed 5050 10k:30k (I know not perfect but it's a basher lol). Letting the bubbles out.
The Eagle eyed amongst you will spot I overfilled a little so I just release the grub screw in the base and bleed the excess as I tighten down the gear.
And all done... buttery smooth, no binding!
