Granite Granite BLX 3S wheels question.

i just got my granite a couple of weeks ago and i was wondering what other wheels/tires you guys are using on the granite. I like the stock ones but i don't have that much dirt/grass areas to run my car and i want to get some all terrain/road tires set up for it. And is there anything i have to do like change my hex’s or get adapters? Here is a pic of my granite just to show it off lol.

there are a handful of 14mm wheels out there. im running a set of duratrax hatchet MT's right now, in 14mm. i was gonna put 12mm hex's on it and run some prolines, but didnt.

Horizon hobby has dynamite speed track tires. 3 different tread patterns and 14mm hex. I have the vindicators. Haven used them as of yet I’m waiting to burn out my stock tires first. They do have a tread for street. The vindicators should work well for street and off road.

How do you like the Hatchets?

Thinking of ordering some 6pack MT for bashing, and maybe the lock-up ST for track use.

They are nice and balloony, if you’re into that. I’ve only gotten to use them on the snow and ice. They do alright. Nice and squishy for bashing.

Yeah, that is one of the reasons I am looking at the 6 packs - they have nice channels for wrapping with fishing line...

I have a set of Louise (Duratrax in Europe) 3.8mt tires for the Kraton. It is crazy how much they balloon, even on 4s.
