Infraction Hi there. New to the Infraction and had a couple of questions.

man for sure. I've already kissed a few. With the tail end coming in hot. It's kind of a fine line of drifting too tight and hitting the front end on a curb or not. I guess same for coming in way too hot and going long. It's really impressive how fast these are.

If you are smart, order yourself a couple sets of these. Hitting the curb is rough on the nuts (wheels ) and I had a rough time getting them off and had to replace nuts and wheel hex. They will get eaten up as well but lot less issues.
You can probably find them on eBay but I prefer the cheapest solution. Not an immediate must-have, but if you are in areas with curbs these are essential.

With the cold we had last week and 70f today with all this talk makes me want to take mine out. My wife has remained me with this warm day we need to take the Xmas decorations down!

Gotcha gotcha. Makes sense. Well I’m about to go run this thing for the second time, gonna just hoon it a bit and not use the HB. I should make it habit before I make a habit of using the HB.

Play with the HB. If you are all into it, best to learn how to use it properly . If you don't find it cumbersome that is. Many like it. I think it is useless. And a liability if anything. This is all just my opinion.

Yeah I actually haven’t really minded the HB so far. But I’m sure the first time it gives me problems I’ll rip it out.

Still trying to understand the brake dial. Also ordered one of those spectrum esc programmers as it just seems simpler than than dealing with all the beeping with manual programming.

Just cleaned it up a little while waiting on some parts. Threw on the wheel well things from scorched. Not sure if I like them yet or not. Seem cumbersome but if they even keep out 50% of the dirt and grime, maybe they’re worth it. And threw on some of those titanium chassis skid things.

Part of me wants to get a custom body, and really make a super sweet and clean ride, part of me wants to have a well worn looking but flawlessly working infraction. Part of me wants a hooning rig and another part of me wants a speed run rig.

Shoot. I might have to pick up another infraction so I can do all the things.

Trust me the fenders do help much. At some point you may want to just speed run it. Even in stock form, she will do 100mph easily with the speed pinion. Space permitting. Any faster and farther, you will need a better range radio. I just yanked my FT HB a few minutes ago. I like my rigs on the leaner side of things. No extra stuff I won't use. The HB servo taxes the ESC's BEC also. I rather give ESC BEC Amp priority to the Steering servo and extra fans or even lights.
