what size dusty did you put on yours? and isnt the writing supposed to be on the other side (left) side of the vehicle?
XXXL, I like to zip from back to front and it's the same size regardless how you orient it.what size dusty did you put on yours? and isnt the writing support to be on the other side (left) side of the vehicle?
Dude, you're absolutely right! I ordered them thinking they were for the rear, but they are for the front.Someone on a Facebook page said these go on the front (had pics). So do they go on the front or the back?
Thanks for the pics ? I'm also curious about what your findings regarding heat will be.Dude, you're absolutely right! I ordered them thinking they were for the rear, but they are for the front.View attachment 74482

Now that I know they go on the front, I'm curious how much air they block from the motor. I need time to test if they create heat.
Here's better shots of how they look:

So the 5687 runs warm? I have the Hobbystar copy and have to run a fan if I gear up. Thought about removing the little window thingy as well. Looks like the guards are good front or back . Let us know how this changes your temps.Specially with the 5687 that runs hot as it is.
I haven't had any heat issues with the 5687 and 29T pinion. That's why I'm still using the stock esc. Ave temps are 120 esc, 145 motor during 20 min runs. I have a fan, but didn't install it because the temps have been pretty good. Those temps are also without the dusty cover installed.Specially with the 5687 that runs hot as it is.
That was my thought!Just installed mine. Pretty useless mod if you ask me.
Idk, to me they don’t seem any more useless than the ones on the 6s model...Just installed mine. Pretty useless mod if you ask me.
