Notorious New Notorious ....

Greetings,

I'm fairly new to RC, so any help would be appreciated. This week I purchased an Arrma Notorious, which I'm running on a 6S lipo. Compared to a few other vehicles I've driven, this seems quite loud. Visually, the gears and differential seem to be fine. I added some grease but it didn't seem to help much. Does this sound right to you guys?

Is there a way to set the gear "mesh" so it won't be as noisy?

It's a great sound. I love it. ? ? Maybe check mesh just in case or for peace of mind.

Only way to make it not so noisy is to replace the center and rear dog bones with cvds and run a plastic spur gear(no one even makes one), but you will still have noise just not as loud.

Sounds normal - it's pretty shocking how loud it is though. It's too loud to test outside my house in the evenings compared to my older car.
