Hello all, share your full-size cars/projects.

Mine is a 1993 Eagle Talon. It's on e85, 36psi and about 650ish horsepower at about 2800lb weight. 99% built myself. Pretty fun car...
That is awesome - I was bigtime DSMer! I bet you'd give me trouble in the 997 Turbo.

Here are my old colts, White pill is stock, Red pill is AWD swapped and makes ~450AWHP w/ FP3065

(old stuff)

Some pictures, video of me crashing down Hells Gate, winching out was a butt puckering moment. Broken in on the Rubicon, literally broke and one of the few Bronco to brave Fordyce. Part are upgraded as they are damaged, which make me king of steering racks!

So once you got winched out..
How did you get back home with busted up axles..?

So once you got winched out..

Blown front differential, I was able to get into 2 HI without any grinding. The lack of grinding lasted till the next morning and we had to pull cv axles. I ran the rest of the trail in 2wd, it was literally hilarious watching us hit obstacles with speed. Ran 2 more trails in 2wd without aid, just have to pick the line. My wife was screaming bloody murder after that point every time I hit an obstacle. Even drove home through a blizzard in 2wd, lets just call it a Griswold Family Vacation.

By us I mean, two of us broke on Hells Gate in the same spot. We had to pull parts off his bronco to get him into 2wd. My buddy blew both front cv axles and the passenger housing off the IFS differential. Took maybe 45minutes to get rolling? We all wrench so its not that hard to keep rolling, not like the people you see on Youtube.

Coolest thread on here. I can’t wait to have money to do this, and hopefully work on a project car when I have kids.. all this after I get married. I’m 16 right now😂
I drive a 2011 BMW 328xi

I had more spending money when I was 16 than I do now at 40. Marriage is a factor, but you can't marry Palmala Handerson and get a tax break even here in California.

Bummer! I’m in MI and am saving for a down payment right now. My parents don’t have space for a second car or I would’ve bought a project.
I’m hoping to A- own my own business
B- own a dealership

Oh man how on earth did I miss this one??

That car is like exactly what I had!!! Well... mine was a 91 and silver.... but still! I ran 36 also but have absolutely no clue on hp. Was never dynod..
Ran 11.1 off the bottle. Had a 100 shot setup but it never made a pass.

I miss that car like no tomorrow. The smartest decision I ever made was getting rid of it though. I liked to use all it had on the streets daily and I knew it'd catch up to me so it had to go..
Now that I'm older and wiser I have kids and can't afford one 😪

Mad skills with electrical tape and dog poop bags,

This is wild and so awesome, I've been there - swapping a transmission in a parking lot (more than once :/ :D). This is next level though...

Funny thing, my wife thinks if I get a classic car this will all go away. Signs of a true car person are epic stories that bore normal people. Nothing like blowing a transmission spinning donuts and driving home in reverse.

Or shifting from 2nd to 4th for a week because you and your buddy can't change a trans out in an afternoon, but you can on the weekend😄

Been there and done that, quickest way to burn an ex valve. It's ok, I needed new head gaskets any way.
