Ahhh i see. Got a small video I'll upload later. Freaking hit the curb at the end cause I was playin in gravel. . Just a bit more slop in the servo. Which was starting to go anyway. Gonna order 1 Friday. May have bent the axle. But not much enough to care.

At the second I want to start a sharpish turn I very quickly release throttle then hit it again. Helps me keep the front wheels planted and ‘carve’ through the turn. Took some practice to get it down. For long wide turns I keep the throttle more steady.

On my granite I’m still running the s652 servo (it’s on a couple of the different 6s models) I picked up from jennys 6 weeks back. $18 for the servo, $2.50 for a new stock steering belcrank and servo saver. The cheap Amazon Servo ($17), kimbrough Servo saver ($10) and Jim’s bell crank bearings ($6) only lasted a few months before the steering really suffered. So I am curious to see how long this set up lasts.

It was nice dropping in the new servo/servo saver and Bell crank. The car still steers like new here 6 weeks later, the s652 is plenty powerful enough. When the steering eventually starts to suffer or the servo dies I got extras and will drop in a new set. I’ll do the same thing with my other cars when those stock servos go out.

Nice little run though. Yeah you nailed that curb but not to hard. So that was the hit that messed up your shocks? Remind me was it stock shocks or those others you run that got bent?

No no...this was just test to make sure all was wrong was the shock. Yesterday. 2 top grass bball court grass downhill. Under the bumper dug in shot me straight up 6-8 cartwheels prob 6' in the air. Landed on that back left. Blew that rear shock.

Well just a small update. Running 4 front shocks. Keeps her low. But WOW how it has changed the handling all for the .
The rear arms and turnbuckles are so level. Turns like a champ. Its the ZD in the rear. Stock up front. Which still turns the nose up some. But due to how the body sits and how at actual ride height she just levels out.

Fixed her makeup. Thank goodness. I was almost not liking how she was looking. I was trying to do tooo much! . But now I still feel like I have some of the sleek look left but with some attitude. Gonna eventually get a blue body for her. That'll be her "good dress".

Oh yea. So after the first go with the grease lining around the motor assembly I didnt do it after and a few runs up under trees and loose ground. Heres what I ended up with under the power module.

So this time I lined it again. Gonna run a few runs in same spots. We'll get a good idea if worth it. I also used some clear gasket maker to cover the holes near the module. I lined it with a small bit of oil first. We'll see if it helps also.

Heres the back arms all race level with the 6s zd fronts half way screwed down to tighten them up.

And lastly got some used button head screws that I used e6000 to set them in the roll bar. The screws are m3. And not double button head

Also got some extra shocks gonna be coming so for fun I put the long ZDs on the rear and with the 2 big spacers on the stock front shocks they actually sit higher than the shorter zds. I gotta find the happy medium. Jacked up but also not too high

Yes sir. Which honestly the wife and I are splitting. Were gonna do it before but then COVID hit. And it was safer for all 3 of us to be together. Its time again now tho. We don't get along anymore and we are all miserable together. . But hopefully we can still parent my step son together. Thats what im trying to work on now. Or of I can take him even when I get a place decent enough.

Yes sir. Which honestly the wife and I are splitting. Were gonna do it before but then COVID hit. And it was safer for all 3 of us to be together. Its time again now tho. We don't get along anymore and we are all miserable together. . But hopefully we can still parent my step son together. Thats what im trying to work on now. Or of I can take him even when I get a place decent enough.

Anytime man. Just ignore the nervous intermediation that comes with doing this. I actually did mine on my own, without Legal representation. I was raised by an attorney and I do all of my own court evictions etc and for my job so I studied it, got it started (hardest part is just starting) and it only took 11 months. Funny thing is she didn’t realize the divorce was final until several months later. She never paid attention to much of anything in real life

At this point we didn’t have much left and the kid was grown so it was actually quite easy. I simplified it further by giving her everything we owned (Except my 4 bicycles, 2000 books and clothes, wasn’t into RC yet) and offered to send her back to California. She took the offer and I dropped 7K sending her back to her home immediately. It was worth every single penny and I liked starting over from scratch, it was…refreshing.
