Kraton To hot 🥵 to drive let’s upgrade

I tell you what this forum motivates me to make upgrades! seeing all the badas$ rigs. So I’m adding HR motor mount and top. Changing all the diff oils 60k front 500k center 30k rear. Installing castle monster X with sensored 1800Kv motor. I’m going to start with a 17T pinion and go from there with temps. Going to run a powerhobby dual fan gif cooling.

The deficit is real! For me anyway! Woke up and spent about a hundo and a half on JRC yesterday. $80 worth of other online orders be here M-W and went to the local Hobbytown this afternoon and spent another $75. Took my wife and daughter to Outback to offset a little. Everyone happy except Truist

For what it’s worth, the 1512 is a little small for the Kraton and it’s only rated for 4S. Most people stuff a 1717 sized motor in a Kraton with the MMX8S.

these fans are awsome, i have run more than 60 packs, zero issues.

awsome build, love these wheels also.

1600-1800kv is sweet spot for these Kratons.

More than 1900kv is for talion if you ask me.

You might want to check the specs. It’s 6S rated. I had the Max6 with the 1650Kv motor in it already didn’t need a kraton that fast. Took it out and put it in my Infraction. You have to read the fine print,

The 1515-2200 motor that you circled is 6S rated:

The 1512-1800 motor that you mentioned ordering in your first post, which is shorter than the 1515, is only 4S rated:

Glad you said something. I backed out of the deal. No wonder it was such a great deal.
Kept telling me it’s new in the box said it was 6S.

So my “great deal” fell through on the castle so I went with what I know a Hobbywing max8 combo.
