Alright ,let's try this again...mojave chassis has arrived, lots of parts coming this week.i plan on running it within 2 weeks... so im using 13/43 typhon diffs & suspension.i like to tighten things up much as possible,so I heat-sinked all pivot, t-buckles and steering rack joints.works well for me.i also like useing front cvd axles in the rear also.they seam more tight an have better support..also when ya crash ya don't end up walking around looking for your rear axles😅🤣😂.1 axles has put me down for 4 days....looked for that axles forever..will be throwing it together quick.majove chassis will have more room for xlx2 👍

Damn that’s a sick setup. Lets hope that poop hooks up.

@jondilly1974 wanted your opinion on something I wanna try .wondered your opinion on if you think it would work?????traxxas xo-1 center brace. Tower to tower for support an NOT putting 2 lower chassis braces on car...mount it to top of pps mount...you think I'd have enough support without lower braces???????🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Dang that is a hard call. I would put it together and test it by hand.

Turned servo mount sideways an xlx2 slides right in.this is just mock up...im sure it'll change again. Makes kratphon look small...I think I could fit this setup in kraton chassis...🤔🤔huge can hanging out the back is intimidating looking fosho

Was up most of the night working on car.not feeling it at work today..2 1/2 hrs of sleep😝.
Trying to decide on layout...lots of testing an moving things around most likely.still just mocking things up.waiting on servo an rear standoffs for body mount.servo on California tour apparently..still shooting for testing this weekend. I'll be sure to video 1st run 4-sure..1st setup will be parking lot gearing for some proper xlx2 break in.maybe 80mph tops.

With that big motor/esc on one side, you really will have to put in 2 big 4S batteries to keep the weight in balance. That could be a hard fit on under the body
You are right, way unbalanced.the 4s packs im useing are 614 grams each.1230 grams of graphene yowoo packs.they are heavy...ill test an go from there.might have to move things around....👍in all it'll be a heavy setup ,thats for sure

That is one of the best motors you can run.
I know a guy running in the 160s-170s with that motor.

At some point after the 130s you may want to swap to the treaded GRP tires and do the fishing line/CA Glue trick to give them higher speed capabilities.

Are the s7 grp hold up better than the s1 ?? Harder, stronger, compound??do you have a thread or post on how exactly to do it..I've done it with off road bashers.never speedcar
Thank you LibertyMKiii. You truly are the chief on speedrunning on this forum in my opinion...your advice an input is well taken in on this end👍👍👍👍

S7‘s have been very bad QC for me lately. S5 or less is what I would do.

Sometimes I feel like that classic teacher description. "those who cannot do, teach" I have not run a car in quite some time...

I think with the fishing line/CA Glue trick the compound wouldn't matter so much. I don't have a how-to but you can check out this one that might help:

Also remember that Castle has some issues with the XLX2 and 6-pole motors right now. You could run the 5660 motor but supposedly they loose sync in the higher RPMs.

FWIW the new series TGPs are thinner and wider than the older ones, 2x 6Ah 4S packs fit nicely under the Limitless body. Have you considered extending the Typhon body closer to the rear arms to reduce turbulence at the back of the car? Maybe chopping up a limitless body to fit? (Although Mojave is longer wheelbase than the limitless so you might not even need to cut anything.

So many options. So fun to do a build not alot of people have done.its like exploring a new planet...not really...im so undecided about every build..my other typhon has raised body an can fit up to a 37mm tall packs

Got a question for you coming from one of my Instagram followers who wants to do a Typhon stretch with a Mojave chassis. What size standoffs will you be using for the rear body mounts? Looks to me like the Mojave chassis is just a bit longer than the Kraton one in your pics.

Mojave is the longest of the 6S chassis. It’s longer than the 1/7 scale on road cars. Doesn’t answer your question, but just thought you’d like to know.

Got most of the soldering an wiring done.
Forgot to mention that I order scorched titanium center shafts.since going with mojave chassis i used scorched axle in rear.(mojave front an kraton rear are the same...an I used a gpm front shaft.only thing left is servo an standoffs for rear body mount an some other small things ill have done soon. then its testing time...
Have become a big fan of xt150 mass 7mm connectors.
I'm familiar with the radiolink rc6gs an have never lost range so radiolink it'll be...only complaint is how fragile the receivers are.only die during a pull.lost control at 90ish mph
