Senton 3s BLX Short and Long Input Gears?

So I have a differential out of a SENTON and a TYPHON and the input gears are different lengths, the SENTON being the longer of the two.
Why is this?
Is it a difference in versions?

I’m guessing I can just cut the longer one and make it seat better against the spur gear.

Might have to do with each having a different slipper clutch? IDK. Are they both from OE BLX platforms? Or is one from a Mega 4x4?
I don't have any 4x4 stuff.
Look over the manuals and blow up diagrams, to differentiate between each better. I don't think cutting it might be the answer.

Yes V3 has a different length input gear.

Yup V1 and V2 have the long one while the V3 has the short one to accommodate the nut on the end of the slipper adjustment screw.

I knew it had to do with a different revison slipper.
And I know squat about 4x4's.

Right on thx guys for being so prompt!! I had a feeling this was the case. I’m just going to cut the rear to work with the newer version slipper clutch. I think leaving it long for the front will work, if not I’ll cut that down too.

yeah when the v3 came out i upgraded mine to the short one (along with the slipper) and i kept using the long ones as spares to be used in the front of my cars
