I think the stock tires are good. I bought a set of duratrax 6 pack X‘s and a set of lockup’s, the latter of which I haven’t tried yet.
The six packs are/were great (one blew apart after three runs) but I think that may have been a fluke.

I second that statement, the stock tires are quite good. Only issue I have is the durability, as the rims tend to crack when doing a good amount of jumping. I currently run a set of 4.3 trenchers, they are heavy, balloon more than stock, but are really durable and allow for easy double back flips (max5 with HW 56113 800kv and a 43t pinion, 20m center diff fluid).
