OK, first of all I know lipo threads pop up regularly so sorry for starting another one😄.
Secondly, I started this hobby with Gens @ce lipo’s and really liked them, later on I switched to CNHL (it’s hard to pass the deals they have from time to time!) and really like them too!👍
Yesterday I was able to purchase three recently bought, less than 10 times ran Gens lipo’s. Looked great, lipo checker data was great and I wanted to add another 6s lipo (well 2x3s actually).

The Gens had the same stated Mah and Wh as their CHNL counterparts, were longer but lower, but felt heavier.🤔 So I decided to weigh them. Especially the weight difference for the 4s surprised me.
FYI, the CNHL have XT90’s, the Gens EC5
Just felt like sharing this for those interested😉

Do you think the weight difference is in the case or do you think the gens-ace-r-spam batteries are significantly better?
Both are hardcase, doesn’t look like the case itself explains the weight difference. Haven’t run those Gens yet😬
EDIT: I can’t say I recall a significant performance difference between the 6750 Gens I had and the CNHL’s. But I only bash around, maybe speedrunners will see a couple of mph difference🤷‍♂️.

Hard to notice changes unless speedrunning. High gearing and amp draw really shows pack performance. The heavier the pack the better performance in my testing..I run cnhl...I weigh everything I put on my cars an try to keep them light as possible. Going for a 3s pb today...ran 114mph the other day!!!!!!data logging shows packs potential.im currently running 70c 5k an 90c 5200mah an the 70c usely do best...90c has outperformed 70c so far.. THE 70C G-SERIES ARE QUESTIONABLY THE #1 PACK FOR SPEED.
At 35$ a pack for either 1 of these they are hard to beat

Zeee 3S hard case 5200mAH 80C = 356g

HRB 3S hard case 6000mAH 60C = 453g

Regarding how long they last, I don't have scientific measurements yet, but from gut, in the Granite the HRB lasts much longer than a factor of 6000/5200. 6000/5200 = 1.154. The weight of the HRB / Zeee is 453/356 = 1.27. I think the duration of the HRB / Zeee is at least 1.27 and probably higher.
