Kraton Custom 6S Receiver Box Extensions Spacers Raisers

So here's what I found out..

The Offset Double Stack risers fit the Mojave's receiver box (and presumably the same with the Fireteam) just fine ,direct Drop-in.

Perfect fit using Stock Cover/Lid.

However, with the Kraton 6S -Due to the proximity of the front steering top plate ,my Double Stack riser bumps up against it and prevents it from being seated properly..

I'll need to go back to the drawing board and rethink it a bit.. on how to make this work in a Kraton.

I don't have a Typhon 6S to test against..
But if you could take a measurement from your steering top plate to the rear of the receiver lid..
That should give me a good indication on how much room it needs to make it work.

I'm drafting up another design..
Will have an "indentation" to accommodate the battery lip/strap ,so hopefully it will allow for this to fit in the tighter area..

I'll upload the new design later tonight.

It was designed in CAD and prototyped in 3D..
(& the winglets are 3D printed. They would have cost a small fortune if I had had them injected molded..)

But, the final splitter itself was CNC-ed from solid ABS plates.

I think it's for a Typhon 6s, but @Tex Koder might be able to do one for a 3s too.

My wife may give me some Serious Stinkeye if I were to design some sexy heels for some one else..

How much space(height) would one expect for the 3S Receiver box?

I don't really have an exact guess, but the design is pretty flawed as it is hard to close the lid without crushing a wire in the process.
Maybe make a little module for the wires to exit from like on the Xmaxx or Maxx trx models.

Just an idea.

Alternate Receiver Box Extension with indentation cavity for the battery strap/tab protrusion..

Will need some long M2.5 screws ~30mm length.

I went ahead a placed an order for some of these longer screws..
because the longest ones I have on hand are just 20mm.

But four holes seem to line up perfectly and nothing is blocking the custom extension.
