Are your center and side mud guards 3D printed or cut out? Do you have a template? These side mud guards actually protect the turnbuckles better than expected?View attachment 106133
I bought center+rear mudguards from MLine (Germany) and rear mud guards from Murat RC (Poland) because I wanted to use one set on my buggy. Bought them from a German RC website and Ebay respectively. Are your center and side mud guards 3D printed or cut out? Do you have a template?
that.looks amazing. is that just regular white marker? or is there a special one for rubber?Another thing done on the list: wheels.
Decided to keep the stock wheels, but found them a bit boring. Colored the lettering white, Arrma logo red, and bolts silver.

What fans are those? I have a problem with mine when the wires keep on getting caught and splitting. These look very sturdy.Power plant with cooling ready?
Next the RPM bumper I just picked up.

Surpass Rocket fans. They range from 25 to 40mm if I’m not mistaken. I got the 30mm which are 28.000rpm at 8.4v. Straight from the receiver at 6v they move serious amount of air, during summer when we had 35C (95F) I ran them directly from a 2s lipo. I like them ?What fans are those? Hey, its a viable experiment that some of us try out. What ever works for you.
Real nice rig you got there. The K6 is almost ready for its maiden run! Next is body strengthening with drywall and rubber seal and led lights.

Thanks!Real nice rig you got there.
Much thought and effort. Attention to detail goes a long way. It shows.
Bash on.
What was used to bond here? I went completely different from my previous 2 body builds for my third and I get the feeling I finally nailed the perfect material. The body is so stiff you would think I fed it Viagra, yet it has flex.Working on the body.
Feels more solid than the stock ‘flimsy’ feel.
With the belted tires weight is starting to add up, so took the kitchen scale.
Body 322g
Wheels 1.708g
’Chassis’ 3.785g
4s lipo 590g
subtotal 6.405g
leds,wheel nuts
Total weight 6,5KG (14lb 5oz). So I added around 1KG ( 2lb 3oz).
Even though it’s only 4s and I don’t do WOT all the timeI‘m having second thoughts whether I should change the 16T and go lower.

I went to a DIY store and used fiberglass tape and used (Bison) rubber seal. The rubber seal is typically used for repairing little cracks in a gutter or roof. It’s waterproof and 750% elastic. What was used to bond here?

Will admit, those fans look pretty sweet! Did they come with the wires like that or did you add those covers? I'll have to pick those up, I've been building everything black and red.Installed the fan mount designed by @TheFuzz1542
