Obviously that which was advertised as such, could not be duplicated in the manufacturing process. Most unfortunate. I'll bet a great deal of professionalism was spent on the video, which, of course, would be released to the rc community. Then, when it comes to the actual production of these parts, they fall well short of their promises. Once they read this forum regarding their incompetence, they will probably send you some perfectly machined parts 'on the house'. Or at least we can only hope. 🤞Good luck.

Yeah. It would be the right thing to do, especially business wise.

@Dan B. Well that sucks... Not saying it's right, but it is a bummer. Have you contacted Razz to let him know the issues? Sometimes it's growing pains and trusting a scale up only to be let down, stuff does happen and precision falls for production and was damn near the death of my employer.

I prefer to find my own solutions, and I have for my psycho King Kraton 6s EXB Roller on 8s A Arms, for a while, lol.

Regardless, pinpoint the issue, communicate and we'll all benefit right?

Well mother fugger …..

This is the first Perfect Pass product I’ve purchased…. Supposed to arrive today ….

I’ll go as far as to measure everything on the PP arms when I get them ….
I too have made chips for a lot of years ….

So many that one day I decided to NOT be one of the “workers” in a machine shop and started my own business making CDI gun parts as an 07FFL 02 SOT

Prototyped my own FIRST ARTICLES in my garage on my mill and lathe to ensure dimensional fitment and fully tested said protos in my genuine HK subguns before ever putting my parts on the market !!!
I’m talking 10s of thousands of rounds down range using my manufactured parts …
my name was/ is on each part …
I was always so worried someone would attempt to slander or talk chit about my parts
Gun people can be really nasty on the interwebs….!!!
Especially the German gun snobs !!!!

I’ll post back hear what my dimensional findings are on these A Arms ASAP
And we shall get to the bottom of these shenanigans …
Mother Fuggers …..!!!

Well Ron, I hope that mine were an anomaly, as I said. But it’s absolutely awesome that you can measure these with a level of accuracy that I can’t even get close to. Could you share your findings with me? I would appreciate it. Do you have any other new a-arms you could also measure for comparison? That would be even better.
I’ll expect your findings by end of day, thanks.
But seriously, thanks for doing this. It’s a big help to me, as I’m trying to get accurate and meaningful measurements with a $50.00 HD digital caliper.
I’ll stay tuned!

I can't help much , I bought the arms months ago and didn't notice any issues when installing them. But I am a basher and not into precision and 100% fit. Took my Perfectpass rc build out for it's first run this past Wednesday and was thrilled. Should of taken it out sooner my ocd didn't want to scratch the CF chassis. Only change will be the motor, leopard to a hobbywing. I knew that all along, go slower for testing purposes. So far I really enjoy PP products.

This rc has multiple pp items.
Not saying the arms are perfect , hope it's a one off or bad batch.

Great looking build, man!

I’m in the middle of a very high end, meticulous build right now and I bought the Perfect Pass a-arm kit to install because they have what I feel is a great design for potential aerodynamic gains, as the flat bottom of the arms could really reduce turbulence, and that’s one of the features Raz markets them on. I watched his video highlighting the precise machining processes he employs to reduce slop and play and make an arm that precisely fits the hinge pins and blocks to create a precision suspension setup whose geometry doesn’t deviate a few degrees while running.
Mine suck. And I need to say that again…mine suck! Sorry if that’s unkind, but they are sloppier than several “chinesium” sets I’ve purchased in the past, don’t even come close to Vitavon, and in fact don’t even come close to the factory Arrma plastic a-arms. Super freaking disappointing.
I’m pulling them off and may sell them if I can resist the temptation to throw them in the freaking trash.
After installation, it was clear the bores were significantly too large for the hinge pins. The proper line-bore was also seemingly a point of pride in his release video, with him stating that it was perfect and far superior to other offerings with no slop whatsoever. I was trying to measure the deviation as much as possible (hard while installed) but my angle gauge came up with over 1.5° of movement (measured laterally with front to rear deviation) when moving the arms front to rear on the hinge pins.
In addition, the distance (SLOP) between the front and rear lower blocks is totally unacceptable. Again, I’m going for as close to perfect as possible on this build and have gone to great lengths to achieve that. They can be slid back and forth a fair bit. Not enough to insert a 0.20 PTFE shim in there, but close. So, I could file the ends of the arms and fit shims to make it perfect. But I’m not doing that, especially in light of how “perfect” these were marketed to be, and how much slop there is in the hinge pin bores which is something I can’t do anything about.
If I had to guess, I’d say that when Shifrin was setting up for production in China that the prototypes he was sent, the ones featured in his launch video, were made properly by one of their ISO facilities and when it came time for actual retail production they went to some substandard factory out in what China passes for the Boondocks. No wonder he’s offering them so much more cheaply than other “quality” choices in the RC market. The machining is less than impressive as well, with a few burrs present on the machined edges.
I’m so disappointed, and actually pretty pi$$ed at myself for ordering them in the first place after sh’tcanning his alloy body mounts three weeks ago from my last purchase. Those were so sloppy that the body posts pivoted 2mm in each direction, plus the set screw on the sides were small, soft stainless Phillips head screws.
I’m done throwing money at Perfect Pass at this point. I’ve bought better quality for far less money from GPM, Hot Racing, and even Integy and no-name AliExpress offerings!
This is the second Perfect Pass machined aluminum product I’ve purchased, and the last.
I have a set of quality Vitavon arms on the way now to replace this garbage. What I should have done in the first place, based on years of receiving the best billet components in the RC world from Vitavon. I really believed Raz had made a better mousetrap here, but was sadly mistaken.
Dan I know what happened you ordered the NOT SO PERFECT PASS ARMS. You better be more careful next time.🤣🤪

Thanks , lot of changes since the pic all for the better of course. Did you ever contact PP support?
Yes I did. Raz himself replied and asked me to send video of the slop, but I’d already removed the arms by the time he replied. Instead I sent him pics of my calipers measuring the bore holes. They were egg shaped. On the “flat” orientation they were .12mm off on the worst measurement as opposed to .02mm deviation on the vertical measurement. It doesn’t sound like much, but it sure let you wiggle the arms around a lot! No response from him as of yet.
FWIW, I told him I was going to run them on a street basher and wasn’t trying to return them. If I get a response I’ll post it.

Hopefully he'll take care of you and make it right.
Cause of the price..

Funny you should say that, because when I watched his release video for these arms with the flat, aerodynamic bottoms and the perfect tolerances I was wondering how he could offer that product for the low price he was asking. Now I’m wondering even more.
