Mojave Redondo’s Mojave EXB

I think it’s time I finally decide what to do with this car.. but all seem like fun options.

1) 4S drag racing truck
2) 6S Bashing Truck
3) 8S Off-road speedrun truck

Parts I’ve gathered for it:
- XLX2, MMX8S
- TP4080cm 2022kv or TP4080cm 2700kv
- Drag wheelie bar
- Scorched Pinocchio spool
- Scorched plastic fenders
- Redondo Beach RC Ceramic Bearings (drag racing only)
- Redondo Beach Ti screws

I’m leaning more towards the 6S bashing truck.

I’m leaning more towards the 6S bashing truck.

Your parts list definitely favors some sort of on road rig. For a 6s basher you’d certainly want a center diff and not a spool. Also, I forgot that Mojave’s were ever that clean, even right out of the box.

Yeah, no spool if I go bashing with it.

If I keep it on-road it’ll definitely stay cleaner much longer lol

Bashing I have some Spektrum stuff too, 2050kv motor and a 160A ESC.

That’s where I initially started. That’s also why I got the scorched fenders to keep the liquid prep from slinging on the inside of the truck.

That 4080 2022kv is nice! I just recently put it in my Talion XXL and its nasty. I bet it rips in a mojave.

So, I quickly kind put this together. Testing the feeling of the 2022kv motor on 6S using 34/39 gearing.

Feel ehh.. not super impressed. Did end up breaking a diff though.

Alright son, enough is enough. Until you learn to properly shim a diff it’s coming out of your allowance.
Seriously though, your son is cute. My nephew is 12 and he still doesn’t know what a hex driver is.
