Stickiest on-road tires

I'm going to say the soft compound grps or the proline proxxes or whatever the felony tires are called. The 2 fronts on all 4 corners would be good. They have retarded grip on road and it's why I don't like them on my felony 🤣

Honestly, I can't even imagine how sticky the soft compound is because once my hard grps heat up they literally pick up rocks all over the road.

@Moirae .. those R1's I had got so sticky on a warm morning that I couldn't pick my car up..!! It was stuck to the road o_O o_O o_O

PowerHobby Grippers are a good option too. They hold up well to 8S power and they stick good...they may not last as long as the GRPs though. I recently ran a new set down after about 5 parking lot bashes. I like the medium soft GRPs (XM3 or XM4) because they seem to last a little longer but both are fun. I get good traction from both and you can still drift some when desired. The softer GRPs (XB or XM1) are super sticky and heat up quick (which is what you want). I use those for light drag racing if I don't have foams on.

Anybody try those MethodRC street tires? I want to try a set of those next.

Cool that you can get staggered widths in 100mm. I haven’t tried them yet. One YouTuber said he liked the tires but hated the wheels, stripped his hexes quickly. That can often be the fault of the user, though. I torque all of mine down pretty well.
These have a decent price, too!

funny enough I've had a set of those tires for MONTHS and I've been too lazy to glue them :ROFLMAO:

Thanks. I think I’ll give the softest GRPs a try.

P.S. has anyone tried these?

What are the softest/stickiest tires I can put on a Typhon TLR for parking lot racing?

Let the tires warm up, as @Moirae said, they will get sticky. Deep winter out bashing. I may go with a S4 or S5 on the Infraction when the ground is cold in the winter....still warm streets right now.

I like the staggered PH Grippers the best so far over the white Hoons and the harder (XM7?) GRPs I have tried.

This is just a TLR shell on a stock v5 Typhon (Truggified for extra width) with stock suspension. I had messed with adding bump stops, and droop, but switched back to stock suspension for my street bashing. That said, I think I might put limitless shocks and towers on one of my Typhon this winter.

Edit: The wider and heavier wheels in the rear do seem to make it want to spin out a bit more under power (or brakes) in turns, so you might like a square 42mm width setup if you are doing lots of turns vs my mostly straight line launches.
