Typhon Stretched typhon with 1650 kv hobbywing?

I just ordered what I need to stretch my typhon. I'm looking to upgrade my stock setup. Will a 1650 kv motor fit in a stretched typhon? I'm looking at the Hobbywing EzRun SL 4985 1650KV Brushless Motor. I just want an upgrade from the stock that will take the gearing I have coming in. A 27 tooth pinion and 40 tooth middle diff gear. Any input is appreciated.

If your stretching it to a kraton chassis it should fit, my kraton exb has that motor
That gearing might be only good for speed runs one or 2 at a time between long cool downs
But I like to run really cool temps to protect my equipment

Awesome. I am using the kraton chassis. Do you use a heat sink and fan? If so which one? I'm trying to figure out what size heatsink I'll need next.

I use this on my kraton exb, but you would need a shorter fan on the typhon I believe, depending on where the body sits. These can be found at Alza Racing. They attach with zip ties, this one’s just mocked up I don’t have a picture of the finished install on my device

Honestly,I'd go for a castle 8s esc an a tp motor instead,HW motor cost about same as tp.tp much better for speed

You can fit an xlx2 and 1721/2400 motor with no issues

Not sure if that motor will fit w/ the stock motor mount? I have a Pps motor mount in my typhon 6s & just put that same max6 4985 1650kv combo in today actually. I use a powerhobby fan mount w/ dual 40mm aluminum fans to be able to fit everything under the typhon body.
