It would be nice if you would at least read the linked document. HPI cars for example do look nothing like an e-revo yet they where subject of this lawsuit.

Could a mod please move/delete all the OT in this thread?

Cu, Etosch

Technically it was the HPI receiver box that was subject to the lawsuit, the cars are only on the list because they had said receiver box.

Did you also notice that every car Arrma made at the time is also in the lawsuit?

But @Mr.Duke is correct the entire lawsuit centered on the fact that they believed that their customers couldn't tell the difference between the Nero and Revo. You ever notice how whenever this discussion comes up the Nero is the only thing people talk about? That's because of how Traxxas played it out, everything else they tossed in as filler.

And guys can we please stop making 20 threads every time a new car comes out. It's hard enough finding things without having to dig through 20 threads. This thread was seriously 2 threads below the new one that someone made..............

Yeah, the Lawsuit actually said something to the effect "Customers will buy the Nero thinking they are getting a E-Revo" o_O

"In the eye of an ordinary observer, giving such attention as a purchaser usually
gives, the design of the vehicle-mounted coil spring and shock assembly in the Arrma Accused
Products is substantially the same as the design claimed by the ’886 Patent. The resemblance is
such as to deceive such an observer, inducing him to purchase one supposing it to be the other."

I think the new rig looks good, at least from the outside. Need to see under the hood myself..
A lil late to the party I'd say?
I love that the literature say's for Traxxas "exclusive" dealers only..guess I won't be seeing one anytime soon🤮🤣🤣
I do see a wrongful intent lawsuit coming down on Traxxas..I thought it was an Arrma Kraton 6s!!
Oh, the disappointment and financial loss I've suffered!!! Got duped on a Sledge when I thought I was buying a Kraton🤮🤮🤮

Sorry that part was wasn't meant to be directed towards you. Someone else made a thread about the Sledge, so I merged it with yours. I fixed it to make it more clear. Again sorry I just woke up.

Interested to see the ribbed aluminum chassis. It definitely has resemblance to a Kraton, but it does look pretty sweet.

I applaud TRX for bringing out a "new" rig even tho it's a 20 year old design (1/8 buggy)🤣
However, reading over the same blah,blah,blah specs, I see fixed gear mesh🤮,2 3s batteries 🤮,full cradle motor mount🤮...this means proprietary,proprietary, proprietary..no thanks🖕👎

pass for me too.

What does everyone think about new Traxxas Sledge?

If you look at the "traxxas" pdf floating around facebook, they have photo's in it showing the kraton stuff and how it's inferior to the sledge. Pretty lame in that regard, but it does look pretty well thought out.
Found the post on there again:
https://www.facebook.com/groups/1142950646155623/posts/1367809733669712

The real kicker is it has an aluminum chassis deck like every other e-truggy out there. So now all the traxxas fanboi's can complain that the chassis bends like everyone elses and M2C will have to avoid a lawsuit to make a better one for it. lol!

They also have a 2000kv motor in it, not sure if it's a 4074 or larger though, connected to the vxl-6s esc.

Up on their site now: https://traxxas.com/products/landing/sledge/
