Truck lead/tow-rope - damage?

I've seen a few people recommend a tow lead/rope for dragging your buggy behind you instead of having to carry it.

Can this method damage the motor?

Nope. Just make sure the electronics are shut down, otherwise you are ‘fighting’ the drag brake.

This is why I take my 10 and now 8yr old boys with me.... if I flip or it dies I just yell "pit crew!" And they run and rescue me so I don't have to.
I knew having an army of boys would come in handy for something
