Kraton V4 6s receiver box

Is the Kraton V4 6s receiver box waterproof or should I just go to something with a seal like the Traxxas 3628?

Thanks. I am changing out the receiver and I wanted to make sure in case I had to order anything else. I take it there is a reusable seal inside?

I wouldn't bet on it, I had three receivers go bad due to water getting in. I now water proof them to be safe, getting the seal where your wiring comes into box right can be a pain in the a$$

all I can say is your luckier than me, It's never been much but enough to condensate and short out my receivers but then maybe yours were water proof to start with

The first time was stock Rx and the next couple were using Flysky Rx.

There was still probably some luck involved. ?
