Just did this one for my SCX24: “Buc-ee’s themed K-10”

I used TRX summit yellow and backed with TRX white.

Also used 3M fine line making tape, makes very clean lines.

Well poop my paint job didn’t turn out so well. I was doing well until I realized the vinyl I used for masks was the permanent adhesive type. Left behind a lot of adhesive residue when I pulled them off. Tried to clean it up with IPA, but the damage was done. I ended up not doing the rest of the masks and just blasted it with the final color and called it a day.

Doen't look terrible but I feel your pain, sucks when something like this happens, sucks the joy out of finishing it. On the other hand look how much quicker it was to finish.

Yep I was cutting more stencils and was relieved that I didn’t have to weed them.
