Still have to design and print the taillight lenses.. might possibly make a bucket for them and light them up as well..?

Did away with the reverse light modeling as the cutouts for the diffuser blend in much higher than I thought it would...

After seeing it and realizing how much I like it, I think I'm going to model up something for behind the front wheels as well.. now that's the ugly part of the body..?

I kinda want your stl file so I can modify ? I dig that it perfectly fits the shape of the hole in the body and it would make a great base to design some rear led options and other kinds of looks.

Great work though! Wish I had your chops, I should make more time to actually learn Fusion 360.

Well I was pondering the tailight lenses, was going to print them from transparent red petg.. then I had an idea, why not utilize the cnc, had napa send up a flat red lens for a whopping $1.68..

Hit fusion quick and designed the lenses, buckets, and led clips.. ran the cam on the lenses and jammed them out on the cnc.. I made it so the lenses recess into the tailpan bores from behind...

Now I have the legit diamond pattern in the lenses..?.. buckets are led ready for 5mm..

If you decide to get into Fusion360, look up Lars on YouTube. His videos helped me a ton.

Now that I use Fusion 360 I cannot get myself to use anything else. There is so many good functions that help making complex designs exactly what you want them to be.

Wow! just WOW. Looks amazing!

Now you will have to do the front end :ROFLMAO:

Thank you sir, and yes plan is to redesign the front splitter cover as well as the side skirts behind the front wheel section.. ? when it's all said and done it should look like a completely different animal..?
Fusion 360? I still struggle with Tinkercad. Nice to see a maestro at work. Lenses look amazing! Oh, and a CNC too? Wish you were my neighbor! lol...

Yes fusion 360 ... its amazingly powerful software..?.. I wish you were my neighbor too, it would get rid of these tool bags I have next door... ???

I'm not sure if you are aware of the changes coming Oct. 1st, but it will not be good for anyone that has been using fusion for free for some time..

The major change that will affect us free users is no more than 10 models in the library... so if you have 20, 30, 100 models better start saving them to documents as step files.. otherwise they will be locked up forever as far as I know...

They will also be stinging us cnc guys with removal of Rapids...ughhh.. work flow will double in time.. all in an effort to get us to pay... I may have to bite the bullet..?‍♂️

Finally done with this dang pan.. now I can move onto the side skirts and the nose..?..

I'm extremely happy with the results, it looks so much better than factory! Only thing I'd still like to do is get the bezel rings and the ss emblem contrasted.. but for now I'm ok with the way it is..?

Here are some pics of the final print getting prepped, painted, and installed..?
