Would this work for replacing the stock rear wheel/tire?

Traxxas Tires/Wheels Assembled Black Chrome Front XO-1 (2) TRA6479

Hex Size: 17mm

Diameter wise I say it's close enough, but width wise it's going to sit tucked in inside the rear fender a ways, the rear set is closer to the felony rear width of you can find them. Also I believe the XO-1 tires are S1 super soft compound too so I'd expect you'd go through them really fast.

Yeah, I figured as much in regards to inset. I'm not too concerned about the compound as I like to experiment with grip. I would need to match the compound in the front. Maybe run GRP S2 or S3.

To be honest, I was excited to find anything in the (close to correct hight range.

I would go the other way.. I'd rather run a smaller tire than a larger one..

As the math @suchtragedy did suggests a smaller rear tire would yield closer matched ratio's.. increasing by 2mm o.d your getting further away and the front will have even more rollout... now if you ran the 109mm and a 102mm in the front your still in the realm..

Math suggests a 2mm taller tire in the rear, will equal same rollout as the front.. or super super close.. like less than 1%...

That leaves a swing of 5mm larger for the rear...So I would try to operate in the 5mm difference category.. 102-107mm..

I know this is easier said than done.. but the further away you are the more heat in the center diff, or more front tire wear..

This is my take on it anyway..

Agree with everything mentioned.
I suppose, it's a matter of a diff change and then the offset update. I'm willing to source the parts but not sure the exact process to achieve the end goal. I suppose creating a video that is straight forward and clear regarding the process, where to get the parts would be helpful.

Your biggest challenge will be obtaining the matching pinion (input), and ring gear (crown)... other than that it's a cake walk.. either ebay for the whole diff, or another kit breaker source.. horizon doesn't have stock of the gp5 ring gear so your out on that one..

Just curious, you mention "kit breaker", what exactly does that refer to? Is that a reference to a set of parts?

RE: matching pinion (input), and ring gear (crown)
Do you mind pointing me to a reference even if not available.

People who buy whole rigs and break them down into parts to sell...

Your picture on the previous page shows all the gears.. ?

Great, so look at getting something like this but needs to be 42, correct?

Or can I use the 43 version, I see there is a mention about needing to be a v2 Infraction or of course Felony version.

Obviously, I need to really look for the following>

Felony front diff is 42/15 (called GP5 gearset) and rear is 45/14 (GP6 gearset), doesn't matter which you get as long as you pull out the right diff to run matched gear ratios.

Found the entire assembly on eBay. BAM!
I will create a video of the mod once ready.

Your in brother! Now you can have all the access you want to tires until they can supply the originals..?

Glad you got it sorted..?

No, all GRPs are 98mm diameter unless you move up to the 1/5 GRP which is likely too wide and certainly not a direct bolt on with its unique square shaped wheel hex.

Your best bet would be to use a Kraton rear carrier plus another front diff and run 4 of the same size tire.
Ohhhh that matte paint.
