I got a new HobbyStar V2 motor. It has a temperature sensor port, which I'm not going to use. It looks good and the wires are about 1 1/4 inches longer, than the wires on the V1 motors. I got the 4282 1780KV for my Notorious. I'm about to pair it up with a HobbyWing Max 6 ESC.

I use a HobbyStar 5692 motor on my K8S. I really like it. Just as good on 8s as the 2028 motor from Castle and it's way cheaper too. The Castle motor locked up on me (probably because of chassis slap and the motor being too damn heavy and only supported on one end is my theory).

A 92mm just needs a skirt tweak, why aren’t you out testing it!!

How do you like this motor with the max 6? Just ordered a HS v2 combo to utilize the temp port for my TyJave that blew the Firma 150 on the first run.

Gearing spot on for temps/standing backflips? Still without motor fan?
I'm running a 19 tooth pinion. The motor gets a little hot. Nothing too serious yet. I might add a fan soon, because of the hot summer heat that's coming.

BUT WAIT THERES MORE! There's a handful of these V2's for sale at rc juice right now, I'm thinking about a 4274, 2500kv for a v3 infraction.
