Progress....

Took this helmet:

And made it my own:

Cut it out to fit the visor, Trimmed the visor 2.5" off each side where it would normally go over your ears. Then heatgun on the visor and make it contour to the shape of the helmet.




Bam!!


I will be tinting the visor so you cannot see into the helmet. I will sand, putty, sand, primer, paint, clear coat, and graphite rub this one. It's gonna be sick af when its done.

Tinted the visor.... and as you can see vison through it is perfect....

Helmet has the first round of primer/filler. Tomorrow she is going to get some spot putty applied to all the bad spots then sanded and prepped for final paint. Most likely the 3 lines on top and mouth of the helmet will be silver and the overall helmet I have not picked a color but Lord Chiron's clothes and saber are black, so may just go black. I also had to make an extra bit of nose piece to fill the gap up to the visor. "don't worry about the holes and bad spots, they will all be cleared up before paint"

The RGB is cool on the visor as when i change colors on my RGB saber I can change the visor with it. SICK!!!!

Lord Chiron's helmet is getting close to done my friends. Tomorrow will be paint and the next day graphite rub. She is gonna be so sexy. And she's a fully custom Jedi helmet made by yours truly.

Introducing... Lord Chiron and Lady Andrea!

So I clear coated Lord Chiron's helmet in preparation for the graphite rub thats arriving soon. She is lookin' shinny and smooth. Also splattered silver on the wifey's helmet. She said it was to purple. She likes it now but it will also get clear coated. I will be clear coating the Ironman helm as well.

Dude this is dry to the touch... OMG everything is getting clear-coated

Just WoW!!

Up to this point ive just been doing single stage painting. Time to advance to two stage with clear coat, and beyond with graphite powders!!

Predator Armor set is up to 420 likes on thingiverse. When you first visit the site the default view is "All Things, Popular last 30 days" She is on Page 3 now and climbing, Lets see if it can get to page 1 or 2!! WooHoo!!

1/7th Arrma Supra isn't to bad either at 51 likes..
