Gotcha. I wonder how much kv has to do with it though. I mean, 800 to 1100kv isn't alot. Easily compensated for by a gearing change. Total power (watts) is likely gonna make the difference between hot or not I would think? Not disagreeing by any means, just curious more than anything. What's the max length that fits a stock truck?

My knowledge of aftermarket brands is awful, so this king Val motor may be reputable. However, after a quick search of this motor I’d have a hard time spending my money on it. I couldn’t find anything in regards to support and feels like the time I stuffed a 200cc Chinese dirt bike engine in a 125cc frame . It was cool for a few runs then never seemed to run right again.

Not even looking for support like warranty stuff, just knowing castle, hw, and others at least invested in a website. Couldn’t find a damn thing from king val. So, like mark Cuban. I’m out on king val. sorry if Im coming off like a snob

I'm a low budget baller, to fault, LOL. My cheapness has burned me for sure, but it's worked out in my favor plenty of times too.

Actually looks identical to the Hobbystar, which also looks just like Surpass hobby.. I really believe they come out of the same factory. The specs are all the same.
