Fireteam What batteries do you use to in order to get to 8s on your Fireteam?

Fair enough. I bought a very low kv motor so I created a problem for myself.

I'm running the 160A/1260kv firma combo on 6s with. 24t pinion. On 50% it acts like a stock system...100% on 6s is almost uncontrollable. I really don't see a point in going full 8s on an 1/8th scale basher....other than to clout chase on the forums. It's really unrealistic. The diffs won't last long...but if you really want that proverbial 62 nova with a blown 454 type of deal in an rc basher..then anything is possible.

It’s not the voltage that’s the problem with teeth and pins, it’s having too much throttle finger and punch while airborne. Hell, if the Max 6 G2 combo didn’t launch I’d prefer the Max5/56118 in a XLWB chassis. If it wasn’t so damn heavy it’d be a great combo for efficiency and top speed. Won’t be long before they compact Lipos/Controllers/Motors enough.

I bought this one it was on sale at the time for $$46 and change. It fits just fine. Get about 49mph with it no mods whatsoever. Just cleaned up and greased up diffs
