Not defending CNHL here but this is exactly what all companies do - they keep raising the prices throughout the year only to knock 10% off on Black Friday and pretend they're giving you a break, when they're just charging you what they USED to charge 6 months prior. It's all BS.

And we should call out all these companies , one brand at a time.

Man, CNHL raised prices on some of their LiHV 4S 6000mAh Racing batteries up to $109.98 (up from $80 standard) and added that price as part of their BOGO sale.

Literally last week, these LiHV LiPos were on sale for $30 on a Flash Sale.

Don't fall for these tactics.

(The sad thing is that those prices are still a better deal than the G-Ace Redline and ProTek RC LiHV Racing 4S LiPos at almost $125-$150 a pop).

I'm getting excellent results off my Onyx RC 6S packs, and they're not any more expensive than importing CNHL stuff

I use a few CNHL packs on my drones - they weren't expensive and they've held their own.

I'd have been pi$$3d if the packs were double the price when I go back to shop for more.

All lipos are imported from China. They have a lock on Lipo raw materials. They have a glut on the materials from S. Aftrica and all over the world. They produce these lipo cells and the Mfr'ed by product chemicals end up in China's Water and Whole Eco system. 80% of Chinas waterways are super TOXIC. Fact. CCP lies about their Eco concerns, there and abroad. Industrial waste is extremely pervasive. And very well concealed from the West, and even their own Citizens. Letting them get sick. Crops that are grown on Superfund equivalent Toxic Ground soil.
I would be willing to pay more $$ if these lipos were made more Eco friendly, and did not make Chinese people sick. The Drinking water and all.
But that woulld cost $$$. Goes against their Manufacturing culture, making things on the cheap is so important to them. CCP values their Politics and Pockets more than their People.

At least Ace of Gens has been a contender with Very good Cust. Service over the years. Their prices have not increased all that much. Always was a premium or upper tier brand IMHO.
I can vouch for Ace if Gens. Some of the oldest Lipos I still have. 4 times older than many lipos that have been tossed already. And still run great. Low IR's etc.

Fireman hooking up to Firehydrants that never turn on. Thousands of them....Some of them Just lean and fall over when Fireman go to hook up their hoses. Many citizens die from building fires as a result. A regular thing. Their infrastructure is not functional. We buy the majority of our goods from China. Maybe with Open Eyes, if we learned more about the culture and CCP, we would change our spending habits for the better. Become more independant of China. And put them out of business. Because China will never change as long as the CCP is in power.
China is having a hard time right now, they wont acknowdge this. But its an all out Economic war. Been so for like the past 40 years. They are falling right now.

All I know is that I tried to communicate with them direct to their Co. email address with a simple question. And took them several weeks and 2 emails. They would not initially reply to their Username here on AF in regards to my questions. A reply that was well scripted and answered little. Couldn't explain what the Purple lipos were with no CNHL branding on them. Just that they are AMZ /Aliexpress only. Not on the official CNHL website, for some strange reason. But said they would warranty them??? Sounds fishy to me. Trying to "Save Face".

I have CNHL's myself. 1 of 2 4s packs died within 2 years. Great race packs. But one died. One cell gave out. Puffed split open the hardcase and all. With maybe 20 cycles to them each. Crap happens. All lipos. I get it. I don't expect any warranty after a long period. But many of my Cheaper AMZ Sypoms and Zeee packs lasted way longer. Zeee replaced one pack immediately, just over 6 mos old. No issues. No questions. With higher priced lipos I expect better Warranty and customer service/tech support. I would still buy another CNHL, but only for a real good price. They were hot items 2 years back. Flooded the YT Influencers with them. Not so sure they are the flavor of the month anymore.

Chinese lack creativity. Because that requires critical thinking, it poses a threat to the CCP. So creativity is not inspired in their culture or schools. Successful Marketting needs creativity. They tend to be masters of copying. That they do very well. And is encouraged. It's why intellectual property theft is a thing with their culture. They steal and copy it, then sell it. With the belief its ok to copy someting if it becomes "Better" than the Original. This is well known.
The belted Choons wheels is one RC example of this. You watch, things are going to dry up after the holidays. There is not much out there for the holidays so far. Limited Selection. Not like years past. So there is less competition which drives prices up more.

Hobbywing did something similar for the G1 Max6 + 1650kv combos. Their Halloween sale was cheaper than their Veteran's Day sale (they must really care about the vets to raise the prices after Halloween) and keep the same BF and Cyber Monday sales prices as their Veteran's Day sales.

That wasn't the point: they raised the prices between Halloween and Veterans Day...then kept the same "discount price" from Veteran's Day into Black Friday/Cyber Monday.

I ordered batteries with the wrong size wire, realized it, emailed them, and they changed the order to the more expensive batteries(free of charge) before they shipped. Unfortunately sometimes things just get missed.

I bought two of the 5200mAh 4S packs and one of the balance wires came unsoldered on the cell side, they sent me a replacement free of charge and it arrived in 2 days. I can't complain about them at all.

Plus I nabbed two LiHV 2S 5200mAh race packs for $50 shipped. Also can't complain about that, these things are great.
