Did it on 8s too for you. First pass was squirrelly, second pass almost hit the local fire marshal, third and final pass was short but clean til I grabbed a ton of brake and lost control. Lol.

Well we finally did it!! The “royal” we that is. The new speed run spot turned out to be decent. Very few cars. Was able to do half a dozen runs on 6s for the world record!

So the second video ended short. GoPro died. Got one more pass and hit new pb103mph and wrecked on the brakes sliding to a stop and lost control! Thought I busted another $150 servo but the hot racing horn took the blast!! Banged up the JBI square adapter and scuffed the black pearl body!! Fml. Gonna tear her down and rebuild back to the monster off road freak she was intended to be;-). Adding huge cap pack to handle 8s bashes.

XLX2 should be out of the shop this weekend w new 8awg batt wires, cap pack, and those massive qs8 plugs!!
scorched Rc goodies should arrive from overseas any day.
PPS and M2C seem to be out of stock so I’m sol on those for now. May have to borrow off another rig ;-)
Prob gonna use the oem green Mojave body so I don’t destroy another one off custom body from my boy @Gabe8501.
Got a few secret ingredients in the Mac sauce that will be revealed in time, that should break any record if nobody beat mine already. If you’ve been w me thru the build you’ll be able to notice in the pt2 build pics;-).
i just want to strap in the 8s set up and see what she will do. I didn’t get a chance last time cuz I wanted to be the first to do it 6s and we all know what happened from there lol. Mission accomplished. Now, let’s see what happens when I give her all 8, balls deep!!!
Then we watch her take off in the “Mojave space x” program!!

Sorry for the delay. Waiting on PPS for motor and diff mount. Grabbed the scorched roto lok 30mm as well.
Sadly the xlx2 did not survive the wreck! Finally got around to replacing the pulled 8awg batt wires and the damn thing took a hit! Picking up replacement xlx2 this week from local shop,
im gonna send it back to castle and see if they can do me a solid LOL.
Waiting on @jondilly1974 to run his 1100kv MEXB!! Set the bar high if you gonna take the record cuz I’m coming bigger this time!! Waiting for ur #s before I begin another build thread!
